Even if they win the LSS5+ project, it will take a few years before it starts generating income. In the meantime, there’s really nothing significant to drive the share price—unless they start paying quarterly dividends, which seems unlikely given the limited cash flow.
JAKS is in the midst of transforming from construction to energy. The Vietnam project provides stable recurring income, but it's still not enough to cover all expenses. The solar segment has just started and isn't yet significant enough to contribute as a major income source—unless they secure LSS5+ 500MW project. I thought the price went up because something good was coming. After the surge, I expected a real partnership announcement — but instead, they announced that the MOU won’t be extended. I really didn’t expect them to cancel the partnership completely.
