Yeah hope for the best. But I just realised there's a positive one recently. GenM sold off UK casino for some good money. So win win actually. Use the money to reinvest.

Same goes to you. Don't talk much if you are not a CEO of a big company.

Investments that add value and synergise with its existing operations are excellent. But I don't see Equanimity being one. It's more like a move that is designed to help Gen HK in the near future.

I'm saying it doesn't add value to GenM. I didn't say it's to cover the losses of Mashpee. Learn to read please.

GenM already have to write off Mashpee Notes. It's trying to retrieve back the amount but tribe is almost bankrupt. For Equanimity, it's only logical as a national service investment and then transfer it to the cruise division. It doesn't offer synergy to GenM operations. More money wasted. As if the losses are already not bad enough.

Mashpee notes is under GenM. https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/genting-malaysia-still-talks-us-tribe-recover-rm177b-notes

And Gen HK (ship, Cruise business) is struggling. So among the possible scenarios is left hand in right hand out. Coz Equanimity is meant for that division.

The next step for Genting might be a related party transaction with Gen HK (cruise and shipbuilding division). And sell it cheaply.

Having to write off the RM1.77bil Mashpee Wampanoag notes not enough? Add RM500mil plus more? Yeah you are smart. Everyone else is dumbass. Cheers.
