KUALA LUMPUR (July 31): A total of 5.57 million people or 90.3% of the adult population in the Klang Valley had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, including 2.11 million people or 34.3% who were fully inoculated, said the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV).

As at July 30, 153,778 people in the Klang Valley — comprising Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya — were administered with their first dose, while 102,688 completed their two-dose vaccination, under Operation Surge Capacity.

The operation, which was started to curb the spread of Covid-19, aims to give each adult in the Klang Valley at least one dose of vaccines by Aug 1.

Yesterday, 512,097 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered nationwide, bringing the total doses administered to 20.01 million.

nine out of ten? you sure or not, nine out of ten is bangla or malaysian? last time i went to klang the bangla is far far far more than malaysian. no wonder la case of covid still rise, because only a little malaysian get vaccine ma, i have been waiting long time o, fake news
