Uncle, does it mean the more outlet Oriental Kopi open, the more OK their business is? I see many their outlets always queuing and people buy their merchandise too. Macam memang OK

Yes Winson, tell uncle which f&b got queues despite so many years ha ha ha concept is proven. Many investors will point to Papparich or Oldtown demise. For Uncle it is precisely their fall that will make OK successful because they can learn from others' mistakes and not incur it themselves. Now for OK to execute and expand domestically especially tourist hotspots Melaka Penang Kota Kinabalu then internationally and for packaged goods to be available directly in intl markets like China ha ha ha

Yes Oriental Kopi fills a gap in the market. Quick service restaurants are all fastfood either fried chicken or burger or pizza. OK fills a gap and has only 20 branches currently. In MY alone it can easily 3x. That's excluding international (and why opening in tourist hotspots is crucial as they can promote/spread the word back home through the food, merchandise, experience - tourists much prefer places where locals frequent which is OK). There is no Malaysian brand that has this much potential

Oriental Kopi welcomes all to the top consumer growth stock. Raya was held in 31 March that means Puasa was for whole month of March 2025. If you visit the branches (in KV for example) you will notice the customer demographics. Bumi's make up almost 70% of the population. Puasa means from opening at 10am till buka Puasa of 7.30pm in Selangor/KL there is only 2hours and 30mins for Muslim customers. Majority of pop with majority of time totally cut off. Yet QoQ Revenue and Profit grew

Uncle, listen, my crystal ball says KOPI will face problems soon.

They want to expand, but their profits will suffer. Why? Their main customers are the M40 group, not the rich. So they can only open outlets in malls or office buildings.

Their food is all Malaysian style. It’s hard to sell overseas because people outside don’t crave nasi lemak like we do.

The biggest problem is price limits. You can’t sell chicken rice for RM40. Many competitors like food courts and street stalls sell the same food cheaper. And KOPI doesn’t have a special taste like McDonald’s cheeseburger and Coke cheap, fast, hot, and always consistent.

If you walk around a mall, you’ll see KOPI’s food is cheaper than restaurants but still more expensive than food courts. Yet they sell basically the same food as food courts. People queue because the price feels reasonable not too cheap, not too expensive.

So KOPI must be careful. Margins are tight, expansion is risky, and competition is everywhere. My thought is… Uncle could be right and I could be wrong. But Uncle shouldn’t push too hard to upsell KOPI growth stories like its a sure thing. If Uncle Total WrOng, any followers following Uncle will lose alot money and failed in total compound and must total reset.

Total WrOng Uncle. Since you’re the self-proclaimed uncle of all guru of basic economics and the ultimate expert on customer demographics and spending power, I’m truly dazzled by your confidence in the demand of halal-certified food. Truly inspiring.

Now, indulge me, what’s your hot take on the growth prospects of OldTown White Coffee, PappaRich, Nam Heong Ipoh, Hock Kee Kopitiam, or Tea Garden? You know, those seasoned kopitiams that have been through the trenches? (Anyone of them going for IPO)

If you’re really the wise uncle of all guru who’s tracked kopitiam businesses over the years, did you put your money where your mouth is and invest in any of them? Because the way you talk, sounds like a virgin boy discovering girls for the first time, all wide-eyed and clueless about the real game.

Newsflash: Kopitiam business isn’t some new TikTok trend. Like all once-great kopitiams, their queues tend to vanish sooner or later. So maybe before telling others to “go outside and touch grass,” you might want to actually step into the business world yourself. Just saying. Cheer. Remember, Nerraw Never Wrong.

Oh Uncle of all guru, what a visionary you are! A true market prophet, seeing FOMO like Moses parting the Red Sea. Yes yes, clearly everyone forgot that Puasa was way back in March, ancient history, like dinosaurs and floppy disks. How dare people consider seasonal spending patterns or repeat consumer behavior? Pfft! Amateurs.

And wow, RM1 you say? Incredible! Did Oriental Kopi just invent caffeine 2.0 or are we all lining up for kopi with a side of gold flakes now? The way you hype it, you’d think it’s not a kopitiam but a tech unicorn in disguise.

Keep riding that zoom train, Uncle Wong. But just remember, every “to the moon” stock has its gravity day. Until then, enjoy the froth while it lasts. RM1 kopi, RM3 dreams.

Uncle enjoying kopi hopefully can expand to China after Xi's visit ha ha ha ha

Starbucks 320 branches
McDonalds 370 branches
KFC 600+ branches
Total 1300 branches
Oriental Kopi 20 branches
Growth Potential = 65x (1300/20)

Oriental Kopi combines Malaysia's favourite beverage Coffee + favourite dish Nasi Lemak
Oriental Kopi - A True Malaysian Experience

HoSEHHHHHH ohhh, Uncle
Ah yes Uncle Wong, truly Nobel Prize-worthy math. Because clearly, if KFC has 600 branches, then Oriental Kopi is guaranteed to open 600 too. That’s how business works, right? Just divide and conquer, 1300 ÷ 20 = 65x gains, instant retirement, buy bungalow in Damansara Heights tomorrow.

And of course, nothing screams “China expansion-ready” like a nasi lemak and kopi combo. I’m sure Xi Jinping is just waiting for a sambal-stained franchise proposal on his desk. Oriental Kopi will conquer China, one boiled egg at a time!

But hey, Uncle Wrong, I admire the optimism. Dream big. Just don’t forget!!! growth isn’t kopi-o kosong. It comes with cost, capital, cannibalization, and competition. But sure, let’s chant 65x like it’s a magic spell. Promise me you keep KOPI shares for 3 years ya.

Now excuse me while I sip my kopi and calculate my own fair value (max 0.40 if sales could growth 20%) using more than a calculator and hope. Bella Ciao.

Total Compound => Total Reset => Total Loser => Total Regret => Total WrOng

Lesson of the century: The ultimate formula doesn’t exist. The real formula is pump-and-dump! stir up FOMO with a flashy growth story, throw in some self-proclaimed expertise, and top it off with impressive-looking calculations to lure newbies into becoming the footstools for your buy price.

Real investors buy quietly and sell quietly. Let the company prove itself with actual performance! Not with wishful thinking and imaginary growth baked into the share price.

Lastly, you should only agree to pay a premium of RM0.40 with the expectation of at least 20% annual sales growth. We’re now in Q2, and there’s been no improvement in sales. Let’s see over the next two quarters; will there be a real sales explosion, or just more hype? If not, RM0.80 might just be the perfect exit point. Any fool can buy. It is the wise man who knows how to sell.

You say “confirm double outlets in 3 years” like you're reading from a crystal ball you bought at Daiso. Bravo, Nostradamus. Care to share your audited projections or are we still throwing darts in the mamak?

As for calling me Buffalo? bro, if you spent less time moo-ing and more time reading annual reports, maybe your portfolio wouldn’t look like a plate of expired char siew. Kopi Growth Potential = 65x (1300/20) ?? 6500% Yeah, Right.

Maybe talk to an actual analyst. You sound like someone who failed Finance 101 and decided to become a Facebook keyboard warrior instead.

Wah Uncle Wong, your research skills are so next-level, confirm double in 3 years? I bet you think Oriental Kopi has more branches than Starbucks, right?

Let’s look at the scoreboard, shall we?

OldTown White Coffee: 200+ outlets across Malaysia and overseas. Basically the McDonald's of kopi. You can find one in any mall, airport, or probably your dreams.

PappaRich: Once had 100+ outlets before it went on its mid-life crisis tour. Still more than your hot takes.

Nam Heong Ipoh: 20+ branches, selling nostalgia and eggs half-boiled to perfection.

Tea Garden: Quiet achiever. 30+ branches. Low noise, high output, the opposite of you.

Hock Kee Kopitiam: New kid on the block. New competitors will keep coming like zombies.

Oriental Kopi: Drumroll please… 25 outlets ! XD Latest Data... Growth fast = High risk

So yes, keep shouting “confirm double in 3 years” like a broken fortune cookie. Meanwhile, the rest of us will watch the charts, the cash flow, and maybe ....just maybe ... use facts instead of fumes.

And next time you try to flex, bring data. Not diarrhea.

Bella Ciao.

Total Regret Wong,

You talk so much but still can’t tell the difference between a sell call and an actual short position?

Let me explain like you're in kindergarten:
Giving a sell call = analysis.
Executing a short = need availability + margin + a stock that’s actually shortable.
Your baby KOPI isn’t even on Bursa’s short list — lucky for it, otherwise it'd be free-falling like your logic.

You keep shouting "show short value!" — bro, even Bursa says, “cannot short.” Want me to invent a market for you, is it?

Also, thanks for dragging my parents into this — classic move from someone with zero arguments left. But no worries, they're proud their kid can read a balance sheet… unlike some uncle who thinks yelling louder makes him right.

Don’t worry, Wong. When KOPI dips, I’ll save you a kopi o kosong. Bitter, just like reality.

Don’t always say “we.” There is no “we.” Only me and you. Stop dreaming like you are some guru or influencer with lots of followers.

Hehe, I spot this shark in KOPI shares clear clear. This fella not here to help the retailers earn, but only to squeeze money out of them. Pushing price up, then offloading to the small guys. I rest my case — his game is clear, don’t get caught in the trap. The one who keep changing topic is YOU. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Sayonara! Those want want to make him rich, please do so. I don't care. Ha Ha Ha Uncle Liar, remember, Nerraw See Everything. (he has multiple self promoting accounts)
