it's not funny at all. Genm over 400 million losses in 1st quarter. Next quarter will be even more. Genting plantation and Genting Singapore reported drop in earnings.
Genm first quarter loss is due to lower revenue from Genting Highland (shut down) and the close down of 37 casino across UK. I cannot deny second quarter result will be almost same as UK casino only resume operation from 17 May. For Genm, third quarter will be improve due to full operation of UK and US. Hopefully Malaysia operation resume normal and revenue will be double up with the opening of Skyworld. Cheers.

Lately Genting and Genm keep issuing bonds to cover expenses. Resort Las Vegas will really going to be profitable enough to cover billions of debts just to build the resort? Before you criticise, do you analyze how Las Vegas casino earn their profit between gaming revenue and non gaming revenue. Do you think Genting company do not doing market survey and analysis before invest USD 4.3 billion in RWLV. Do you analyze how many industries Genting invest into. If no, better invest in Tenaga and Maybank. Cheers.
Do anyone expect very good QR result for Genting. In fact, second quarter expected to be more worst. Base on my simple analysis, RWLV recruit 6000 workers for training since beginning of this year, I believe almost 6000 workers recruited until April or May, if average salary is around USD 3k （RM12k) , total salary alone will be RM72 million monthly. There will be no revenue at all for RWLV in first and second quarter. If you cannot accept this, you should not invest in Gent. Cheers.
