Basically the penalty is a bit higher than the price you sell. For example the penalty for 1 shares may be around 0.25 to 0.3 .Tommorow you will noticed the penalty

Normally people won't buy before Ex-date and sell on Ex-date if the company announced share consolidations.You can buy and sell after the Ex-date because the price will be adjusted.

If you sell on 23/9/20 you have to pat the penalty because today is the Ex-date.If you sell after Entitlement date no penalty for the shares you sell.

Because every 25 shares that you bought will become 1 shares after Entitlement date in our portfolio.If you buy 100000 shares before Ex date and after Entitlement date there will be only 4000 shares shown in our portfolio.
